DHAKA: Investors saw a moderate fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Monday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 28 points to stand at 4,204 at the close on the second trading day.
Trade deals stood at 81,410 with transaction at Tk 2,789 million.
Of the issues traded, 48 advanced, 197 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
MPETROLEUM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 183 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were JAMUNAOIL, BSCCL, UNIQUEHRL, SUMITPOWER, SQURPHARMA, TITASGAS, RNSPIN, KEYACOSMET and BEDL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,092 by dropping over 60 points.
Of the issues traded, 28 advanced, 149 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
