Shibir calls hartal for Monday

JOYPURHAT: Chhatra Shibir has called dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district for Monday in protest against killing one of their activists, Badiuzzaman.

Central Publicity Secretary of Chhatra Shibir Abu Saleh M Yahya made disclosure to banglanews on Sunday afternoon.

He said, “Joypurhat district Chhatra Shibir unit has called the hartal in protest against the killing. The central Chhatra Shibir will help to make the hartal a success.”

On November 5, Badiuzzaman was injured critically during the clash between police and Shibir activist. Later, he died at Islami Bank Hospital at Dhaka.
