DHAKA: A schoolgirl was killed in a road accident in West Bhobanipur area of the district town on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sultana Priya, 13, a student of class-VII of Rajbari Government Girls’ High School.
Cousin of the deceased Jahanara Akther told banglanews that Priya was returning home by a shallow engine-run auto-rickshaw and plunged into a roadside ditch knocking a human hauler in the area, leaving her dead on the spot.
