MEHERPUR: Meherpur Inter-district Bus Minibus Owners’ Association went on an indefinite strike on Friday morning protesting the attack on a leader of the association.
On the other hand, gave an ultimatum to the administration to arrest the attackers and take legal action against them.
Confirming the matter, Meherpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries authority said, “They will give tougher programme including shutting down all business institutions if the administration does not take any legal action against the responsible.”
Mujibnagar Thana OC Subhas Chandra told banglanews, “Police held an attacker from Bhaberpara village and we are trying to arrest the others.”
He informed that the incident took place following a land dispute.
