DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the secretaries concerned to take exemplary action against persons commit any kind of corruption.
The premier came up with the warning in a meeting of secretaries held at secretariat office Wednesday.
Indicating the secretaries, Sheikh Hasina said, “You should play a vital role in preventing corruption and take action against corrupt officials and staffers.”
She also directed them to settle the cases and audits soon.
Emerging from the meeting, cabinet secretary Mosarraf Hossaom Bhuiyan disclosed the matter to journalists.
