2 siblings drown in N’ganj

NARAYANGANJ : Two siblings drowned in a pond while taking bath in Adamji area of Siddhirganj under Sadar upazila of the district Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Sajeeb, 12, and his brother Hridoy, 10, sons of Billal Hossain of Mijmiji area of Siddhirganj.

Shamim Chowdhury, emergency department doctor of Khanpur Hospital in Narayanganj told banglanews that Sajeeb and Hridoy drowned in a pond while having bath at around 12:30pm.

Later, locals recovered them from the pond and brought them to the hospital as dead, he added.
