FROM UKHIA, COX’S Bazar: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Sunday visited the Paschim Dipankpur Buddhabihar which was affected by communal attacks on September 29 in Ukhia.
She will address an affinity rally anytime at Ukhia High School ground at noon.
Earlier, Khaleda left Cox’s Bazar Circuit House where she stayed overnight on Saturday.
Earlier, Khaleda started her journey on Friday afternoon, 41 days after the attacks on Buddhists by religious zealots.
She visited Ramu upazila where Buddhist temples and houses were damaged during mayhem.
Khaleda is scheduled to return to Dhaka by Sunday night.
