Training institution set on fire in Ashulia

SAVAR, DHAKA: Some trainees set Singapore Immigration Center DELGO on fire in Narsinghpur area in Ashulia on Wednesday night.

Sources said some trainees set the institution on fire in protest of failing in an examination due to irregularities around 9:30pm.

Later, angry trainees also torched a vehicle of the fire service when two units of EPZ fire service and civil defense rushed in to the spot around 9:45pm.

However, the blaze was brought under control.

Meanwhile, huge traffic congestion was created in Baipail and Abdullahpur road due to the incident.
