45 CCTV cameras at Shahbagh

DHAKA: As a part of additional security measure, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) installed 45 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras at city’s Shahbagh intersection Monday.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, deputy commissioner of Ramna Zone Syed Nurul Islam said, “We set up the cameras for additional security in the area and number of cameras will be increased if needed.”

The Shahbgah protest demanding death penalty to all war criminals including Quader Mollah, entered seventh day.

Thousands of people of all classes and religions within the country and abroad are raising their voices from Tuesday last for the same demand—“Hang War Criminals”.
