MKA to anti-liberation forces

No right to live in the country

DHAKA: Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir said people who live in Bangladesh but oppose its liberation and sovereignty have no right to live in Bangladesh.

He came up with comment while addressing a discussion marking Victory Day at European University in city’s Shyamoli area Friday morning.  

Regarding trial of war criminals, the minister said, “The trial is underway. They must be tried.”

“The trial is progressing through following all legal process.  Keep patience, as trial procedure has started during the tenure of incumbent government and would be completed also,” he added.
 
Regarding Biswajit killing, Mohiuddin said, “Eight people were held for their alleged connection in the killing. Of them, people remained whose photos were published in media.”

All involved in the killing would be brought to book, he added.

With European University vice chancellor Dr. Abdul Mannan in the chair, the discussion was also spoke by among others, university’s trusty board chairman Dr Makhbul Ahmed, member Nilufer Begum.
