Bashundhara Cement Drawing competition held

KHULNA: Bashundhara Cement Children Drawing Competition-2012, marking 41 years of independence, was held on Khulna University campus Friday.

Some 84 children from seven districts of Khulna division participated in the contest.

KU VC Professor Dr Saifuddin Shah distributed crests and certificates among the selected participants.

Appreciating the initiative of Bashundhara Group, Dr Saifuddin said, “BG is carrying out the social responsibility as per corporate responsibility and others should also come forward.”

With Sales Manager of Bashundhara Cement for Khulna and Barisal divisions Abdul Latif in the chair, the programme was also attended, among others, by panel mayor of Khulna City Corporation Azmal Ahmed, chief engineer of Bashundhara Cement AKM Mahbub-uz-Zaman and Deputy General Manager Khandakar Kingshuk Hossain.
