NOAKHALI: Communications and Railways Minister Obaidul Quader said all kinds of unlawful bindings must be removed from Bangladesh Railway (BR), and its land properties must also be recovered from illegal grabbers.
He came up with the observation while addressing, as chief guest, a programme for changing time schedule of ‘Upakul Express’ inter-city train service in Noakhali on Saturday.
Indicating railway officials, he said, “Any kind of irregularities won’t be tolerated.”
At the time, the minister was accompanied by lawmaker of Noakhali-4 constituency Ekramul Karim Chowdhury MP, Railway Secretary Fazlul Kabir, Director General Engineer Abu Taher, District Administrator of Noakhali Dr ABM Jafar Ullah and many other high-up officials of railway.
