DHAKA: Awami League advisory council member and minister without portfolio Suranjit Sengupta urged the political parties to stop politics of killing and conspiracy to move the country forward.
The AL leader came up with the urge while addressing a discussion organized by Digital Bangladesh Forum at National Press Club Thursday morning.
Calling upon BNP to join next parliament session, Suranjit said, “Lets behave responsibly from everyone’s position to move the country forward.”
He said those who practice politics of killing, they can never be winner. They are tried if people’s government assumes power.
“We are glad to include the trial of killers in 15th amendment of the constitution,” he added.
With Digital Bangladesh Forum president MKM Rana Chowdhury in the chair, the discussion was also addressed, among others, by Professor Dr Abdul mannan chowdhury, Krishak League vice president MA Karim and joint general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League Hazi Selim.
