DINAJPUR: A district court Sunday placed 30 activists of Jamaat-Shibir on one-day remand for police interrogation in a case for attacking police.
Dinajpur Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate M Haydar Ali granted the remand when police produced them before the court with five-day remand plea.
Meanwhile, police arrested former Ameer of district Jamaat Aftab Uddin Mollah’s son, Rangpur divisional Chhatra Shibir organizing secretary Mojahidul Islam and Birganj upazila Chhatra Shibir general secretary Kamruzzaman.
