Laptop to be purchased for MPs

DHAKA: Finance Ministry is likely to sanction fund for purchasing laptop computers for the members of Jatiya Sangsad next month involving Tk 2.28 crore.

The laptops will be purchased to bring dynamism in parliament activities by enhancing connectivity and intranet application between MPs, concerning sources said.

The Parliament Secretariat will implement the task under the ‘Connectivity and Intranet Application Generation at Jatiya Sangsad Project’ next month.

Under the project, dedicated Web Pages and email accounts will be generated for the MPs within 10 months, the Parliament Secretariat sources said.

By this page, public can communicate with the MPs through internet.

Senior System Analyst of the secretariat Khan M Ilias told banglanews that the Finance Ministry assured that they would sanction fund for the project after Eid.
