JESSORE: Three people, including two siblings, were electrocuted in frontier Kabilpur village under Chowgachha upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Razu, 20, son of Abdul Rob and Tofazzal, 40 and his brother Chhoto, 20, sons of Abdul Kader of the village.
Officer-in-Charge of Chowgacha Thana Abdul Khalek told banglanews that Chhoto first contacted electric wire and others two were electrocuted one by one when they tried to save each other while they were returning with smuggling goods from India.
On information, police rushed in and recovered the bodies, he added.
