DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 8 points minus to stand at 4,282 at 1:07 pm.
Trade deals stood at 27,415 with transaction at Tk 664 million. Of the issues traded, 97 advanced, 117 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 43 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,245 by dropping over 33 points at 1:05 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 36 gained, 88 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
