DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Monday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 52 points to stand at 4092 on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 77777 with transaction at Tk 2390 million. Of the issues traded, 203 advanced, 41 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
R.N. SPINNING MILLS LIMITED topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 179 million having changed hands during the time.
The other turnover leaders were BSCCL, GP, UNIQUEHRL, KEYACOSMET, TITASGAS, SAIHAMCOT, UNITEDAIR, SQURPHARMA and MPETROLEUM.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7890 by gaining over 105 points.
Out of the issues traded, 150 gained, 25 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
