BORGUNA: A college student allegedly killed himself in a rental house of the town on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Bashir Uddin, 20, son of Shamsu Musulli of Basuki village of sadar upazila.
Confirming the matter, Barguna Thana SI Abu Hanif told banglanews: “Bashir took poison on early Wednesday and got critically injured.”
Later, he was rushed to Barguna General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 3:00am, he added.
SI Abu Hanif suspected that Bashir might commit suicide due to affairs related matter.
An unnatural death case was filed with the thana in this connection, he added.
