SIRAJGANJ: At least four people, including three of a family, were killed in a road accident in Bogra-Nagarbari Highway under Shahjadpur upazila of the district Monday.
The deceased were identified as Asgar Ali, 40, his wife Monwara Khatun, 35, son Naeem Islam, 9 and Nayeb Ali, 30, son of Ansar Ali, of the same upazila.
Sources said a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a rashly driven human hauler locally known as ‘Nasiman’ in the area, leaving one dead on the spot and three others injured critically.
The injured were rushed to Ullapara Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
Officer-in-Charge of Hatikomrul Highway Thana Farid Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
