DHAKA: The scheduled banks of the country will remain open for three hours Thursday in spite of having public holiday due to Shab-e-Qadr.
A press release issued by the central bank on Sunday said all the scheduled banks can keep their branches open from 9:30am to 12:30pm on the day.
The news release said the banks can keep their all branches or any certain branch open in terms of favoring clients before Eid for the sake of secured transactions.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) also allowed all scheduled banks of the country to keep their all branches open on August 18 under their own management.
