3 minors drowned in Habiganj

HABIGANJ: Three minors drowned in a pond in Madanmurat village under Baniachang upazila of the district Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Lanchi, 5, daughter of Mahuk Mia, Koli, 4, daughter of Mahmud Mia of the village and Dihad, 4, son of Bashir Mia. They are cousin.

Local sources said they drowned in a pond beside house while playing and died on the way to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital.
