DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing positive in share-price indices on Thursday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 10 points to stand at 4,306 at 12 noon on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 15,516 with transaction at Tk 375 million. Of the issues traded, 134 advanced, 77 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 26 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,258 by gaining over 17 points at 12 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 64 gained, 37 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
