Youth chopped to death in Natore

NATORE: Some miscreants chopped to death a youth at Ichhalbaria village under Singra Upazila early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Nazmul Islam, 30, son of Jalal Uddin of Bias village of the upazila.

Quoting Jalal, Singra Thana OC AKM Fajezur Rahan told banglanews, “A gang criminals chopped Nazmul, while patrolling their leased pond at about 12:30am, leaving him critically injured.”

Later, he died on the way to Singra hospital.

The body was sent to Natore hospital for autopsy at about 11am.
