JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: The Jahangirnagar University authorities (JU) will nominate a three-member vice-chancellor (VC) panel on July 20, said press release Monday.
The news release said the panel would be nominated at a special senate meeting of the university around on the day.
On May 20, the newly appointed vice-chancellor of Jahangirnagar University Professor Anwar Hossain took his office.
After taking charge, Professor Anwar said, “I will try my best to run the varsity as per Ordinance of 1973 and to make a dream campus.”
On May 17, Dhaka University Professor Anwar Hossain was appointed as new Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University just after resignation of Dr Shariff Enamul Kabir.
