DHAKA: US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena categorically said that his country would talk to World Bank (WB) to resolve the complexity over funding Padma Bridge project.
He came up with observation emerging from a meeting with Finance Minister AMA Muhith at his office Monday.
Dan W Mozena said US would talk to World Bank over funding much talked Padma Bridge project as it is important for Bangladesh.
Padma Bridge would also help in communicating with India and Nepal, he added.
AMA Muhith said, “We talked with all donors including Asian Development Bank (ADB), JAICA, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) over funding the bridge.”
We will finalize the matter of construction of Padma Bridge by July, the minister added.
