CHITTAGONG: The shuttle train services for the students of Chittagong University resumed on Sunday after a five-hour halt as the Chhatra League men released its driver after abduction.
Sholoshohor Station Master Fakhrul told banglanews that the diver, Kamrul Huda, was released in No-2 Gate area of the city around 3:00pm. The train services resumed accordingly after the release.
However, the train schedule was shuffled due to the incident, he added.
Earlier in the day, the leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League abducted the assistant Loco master (driver) of Chittagong University (CU)-bound shuttle train from Sholoshohor rail station in the city.
