DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Monday returned Dhaka after wrapping up her three-day visit in Ramu of Cox’s Bazar.
She arrived at her Gulshan residence around 3:30am.
On Sunday night, the chairperson exchanged views with leaders of Buddhists and Hindu communities of Patia Upazila in Chittagong at Chittagong Circuit House during her last day of Cox’s Bazar tour.
Later, she left Chittagong for Dhaka around 9am.
Earlier, Khaleda started her journey on Friday afternoon, 41 days after the attacks on Buddhists by religious zealots.
She visited Ramu upazila where Buddhist temples and houses were damaged during on September 29’s mayhem.
Khaleda is scheduled to return to Dhaka on Sunday night.
