DHAKA: The leaders of main opposition BNP held meeting with the diplomats of different countries at Gulshan Heritage Hotel in the city on Wednesday.
In the meeting, the BNP leaders discussed the latest political situation of the country.
They presented data and paper cutting containing the news of false cases, arrests, killings, and oppressions on BNP men.
BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed led the meeting.
The countrymen have no confidence on judiciary as the law goes following one person’s direction, said Moudud.
The envoys of some 16 countries including UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Norway, Singapore, German, Pakistan, Sweden, and Switzerland attended the meeting.
BNP Vice Chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury, Khaleda Zia’s Advisers Riaz Rahman, Sabih Uddin Ahmed and noted journalist Shafiq Rehman were among others present.
