DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 75 points minus to stand at 4,544 at 1:03 pm on the first trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 44,168 with transaction at Tk 926 million. Of the issues traded, 29 advanced, 201 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 128 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,666 by dropping over 118 points at 1:03 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 7 gained, 131 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
