DHAKA : Investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 114 points to stand at 4,506 at the close on the first trading day of the week.
With volume of transactions Tk 1,686 million, trade deals stood at 71,735.
Of the issues traded, 22 advanced, 228 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 159 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SIBL, LAFSURCEML, GP, MPETROLEUM, LANKABAFIN, GPHISPAT, SQURPHARMA, NBL and BEXIMCO.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,604 by dropping over 180 points.
Out of the issues traded, 13 gained, 166 declined and 6 remained unchanged.
