DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Sunday awarded death penalty to three men and life term for another for their involvement in Bajlu murder case of Kishoreganj.
The court also acquitted four other accused from the case as they were found innocent in the case.
Judge of Dhaka-4 Speedy Trial Tribunal Motaher Hussain passed the order in presence of the accused.
The convicts who were awarded capital punishment are Nazim Uddin, Suman Mia and Shahab Uddin.
Musammat Begum was awarded life term and fined Tk 25,000 to the victim’s family.
On April 19, 2010, Bajlur Rahman was killed by his rival over a land dispute.
