BRAHMANBARIA: Three workers were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Kanabaria area under Nabinagar Upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Raihan, 22, Liton, 22 and Alam, 27. They were resident of Sadar Thana.
Officer-In-Charge of Nabibagar Thana Abu Jafar said, “A truck carrying construction workers plunged into a road side ditch when its driver lost control over steering in the area at 8:45pm, leaving two dead on the spot and six others injured.”
The injured were rushed to Upazila Health Complex where one of them succumbed to their injuries, OC Jafar added.
