PATUAKHALI: A mobile court sentenced a stalker to two months’ imprisonment and fined Tk 5,000 on charge harassing a housewife at Dashpara village under Baufal upazila on Saturday morning.
The convict was identified as Badol Hossain, 19, son of Ratan Ali Hawlader.
The makeshift court, led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer M Abul Kalam Azad, pronounced the verdict at 11:00am.
Officer-in-Charge of Baufal Thana Naresh Chandra Karmaker told banglanews that Badol used to harass the housewife for several days.
On information, police held Badol while harassing the woman and produced him before the mobile court.
