DHAKA : Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing positive in share-price indices on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 97 points to stand at 4,239 at 12:00 pm on the first trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 33,159 with transaction at Tk 1149 million. Of the issues traded, 199 advanced, 9 declined and 6 remained unchanged.
JUMUNAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 77 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,140 by gaining over 162 points at 12:00 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 116 gained, 3 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
