DHAKA: General Manager (GM) of Security Department Mominul Islam and DC-10 Pilot Ishtiak Ahmed of Biman Bangladesh Airlines were temporarily suspended.
A Biman source made the disclosure to banglanews Sunday.
GM Mominul was suspended for his allegedly involvement in irregularities to run the organization.
Besides, Pilot Ishtiak Ahmed was suspended as Biman had to waste Tk 10 crore because of him, the source said.
On contact, Pilot Ishtiak Ahmed told banglanews he had no fault in the case.
On the other hand, GM Mominul couldn’t be contacted.
