COMILLA: Rail communications of Dhaka with Chittagong and Sylhet remained suspended for four hours on Sunday night as some bogies of a passenger train was disconnected in Salda River area under Brahmanpara of the district.
The incident took place around 8:30pm when part of Noakhali-bound Upakul Express train from Dhaka was disconnected that suspended rail link on Dhaka-Chittagong and Dhaka-Sylhet routes, reports banglanews correspondent.
Comilla Station Master Hossain Majumder told banglanews over the phone, “A salvage train from Akhaura recovered the disconnected bogies around 11:45pm.”
Later, the communication in the route resumed around 12:30am on Monday.
