DHAKA: Government Thursday has decided to preserve one percent quota for the physically challenged applicants in 33rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) recruitment examination.
A press note, signed by controller of the examinations of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) AEM Nesar Uddin, disclosed the decision.
According to the press note, BCS exam circular does not provide any instruction about quotas. After the viva voce, the BPSC authority follows quotas appropriately during post distribution. So, physically challenged people can apply for the 33rd BCS exam in general through internet.
The physically challenged candidates have to apply to exam controller (cadre) of BPSC within timeline for necessary help in 33rd preliminary and written test, the note added.
According to the BPSC exam regulations, BPSC will provide help for them as like as previous BCS exams.
Physically challenged candidates, who will pass the preliminary test, have to submit disability certificates and necessary testimonials according to the section-13, mentioned in the 33rd BCS exam circular.
