Housewife commits suicide in Lalmonirhat

Patgram (Lalmonirhat): A housewife reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself in Hatibandha Upazila of the district on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Sufia Khatun (40), wife of Yunus Ali, of Dakshin Gotamari Union of Hatibandha Upazila.

Confirming the matter, Hatibandha Thana ASI Ayub Ali told banglanews, “She committed suicide due to intolerable stomach ache.”

On information, police rushed in and recovered the body, said police.
