DHAKA: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Front (BNF) convener and former Communications Minister Barrister Nazmul Huda declared the advent of a third political coalition named ‘Bangladesh People’s Alliance’.
A press release signed by personal secretary of the politician Akkas Ali Khan disclosed the matter Wednesday.
In the statement, he said, an alliance comprising like-minded renowned persons, noted politicians, civil society people and other organizations would be made soon.
He said the alliance will be formulated to ensure and secure good governance, human rights, constitutional rights, a democratic society and sovereignty of the country.
The alliance would compete in the next general election, he added.
He also said no person from four-party and 18-party alliance will be included in the fresh alliance.
In the release, he urged eminent personalities and parties to be united with the new alliance.
