KURIGRAM: Drizzling, excessive cold and foggy weather devastated the district.
At least 10 children were died due to cold related diseases in Sadar Hospital in the district in last 20 days.
Kurigram Sadar Hospital Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Nazrul Islam told banglanews the children were suffering from rata-viral diarrhea related diseases due to cold wave.
Rangpur Met Office sources told that the temperature of the district was 12.6-degree C on Tuesday.
Besides, the cold wave may begin within few days, he said.
