JnU places budget Tk 33.23cr

DHAKA: Jagannath University has declared its Tk 33.23 crore revenue budget for the fiscal year 2012-13.

Treasurer of the university Professor M Selim announced the budget at a press conference held at the university Sunday.

According to the budget, Tk 23.68 crore grants from the University Grants Commission and Tk 9.55 crore from university’s self-income have been considered as the revenue sources for implementation of the budget.

Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Proctor Dr Ashok Kumar Saha, Registrar Engineer Ohiduzzaman, Deputy Director Dr Syed Ahmad and Deputy Director Syed Faruk Hossain were among others present at the press meet.
