BRAC Bank approves 50% right share

DHAKA: BRAC Bank Limited held 9th Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) at Army Golf Garden in the city on Thursday.

In the meeting, the shareholders approved issuing 50% right share or one right share against two shares at the rate of Tk 25 each (including premium of Tk 15) for raising paid-up capital of the bank.

Chaired by Muhammad A (Rumee) Ali, Chairman of BRAC Bank Limited, the meeting was attended, among others, by the directors Shib Narayan Kairy, Hafiz GA Siddiqi, Managing Director & CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Company Secretary Rais Uddin Ahmad.

Addressing the EGM, BRAC Bank chairman expressed his gratitude to the shareholders, stakeholders and management for their continuous support to the company.  

A large number of shareholders also attended the EGM.
