GAZIPUR: Ahmed Milon, banglanews Shreepur Upazila correspondent, was injured critically as an ATN News vehicle knocked him down in Nayanpur area on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway Friday morning.
Milon was admitted to city’s Mohakhali Metropolitan Hospital.
Quoting doctors, Milon’s younger brother Mosharraf Hossain told banglanews that the doctors found a injury in Milon’s brain and he has to be kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for next 48 hours.
Earlier in the morning, a microbus of ATN News hit the motorcycle carrying Milon when he was going to Nayanpur to cover communication minister’s news at about 11:30am, witnesses said.
The minister expressed shock over the accident.
Earlier, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader visited the construction work of four-lane Dhaka-Mymensingh highway Friday morning.
