CHANDPUR: At least 15 leaders and activists, including lawmaker Harun-or-Rashid, in a factional clash in district town Sunday.
Besides, former MP GM Fazlul Haq was also injured in the clash.
Officer-in-Charge of Chandpur Model Thana Alamgir Hossain told banglanews that the leaders and activists of the party locked into a clash centering previous political enmity.
On information, police rushed in and took the situation under control, he added.
Additional police were deployed in the area to avert further clash, he added.
