DHAKA: The deal on manpower export to Malaysia is set to be signed on November 26.
Confirming the matter, Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) Director General Begum Shamsunnahar told banglanews, “The deal will be signed on November 26. There is no possibility of changing the date.”
BMET has already completed making draft of advertisement of employee registration.
Besides, the training centres for the employees interested to go Malaysia have been finalized.
BMET sources said they would first publish the advertisement for registration. The interested workers have to register their names within a day after the publication of advertisement.
BMET director (Training Standard and Planning) Nurul Islam said, “Malaysia will take manpower for five types of works. But, the number of workers they are going to recruit in first phase could not be known yet.”
He said the government has sent the final draft of the deal on human trafficking and inter state crime prevention along with the MOU.
“Three separate MOUs will be signed after approval of the two drafts in the Malaysian cabinet,” he added.
