DHAKA: Investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Thursday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 16 points to stand at 4,166 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
With volume of transactions at Tk 2,810 million trade deals stood at 95,279.
Of the issues traded, 100 advanced, 146 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 167 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GP, MPETROLEUM, BEXIMCO, SQURPHARMA, JAMUNAOIL, LANKABAFIN, TITASGAS, GPHISPAT and MICEMENT.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,995 by dropping over 31 points.
Out of the issues traded, 79 gained, 104 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
