DHAKA: Singer Susan Boyle will be honoured with a doctorate from a university in her native Scotland.
The star, who shot to fame after appearing in Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, will be feted by officials at Edinburgh’s Queen Margaret University, where she studied for a certificate in care, says Gulf News.
According to Daily Record newspaper, Boyle will be conferred with a doctorate for her contribution to creative industries.
The ceremony will be held on July 6, reports dailystar.co.uk.
