DHAKA : Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 26 points to stand at 4,726 at 1:45 pm on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 50,861 with transaction at Tk 2,118 million.
Of the issues traded, 179 advanced, 36 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 60 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,943 by gaining over 4 points at 1:47 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 87 gained, 44 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
