Natore BJL leader succumbs to shot injuries

NATORE: Natore town unit Juba League (BJL) Joint Secretary succumbed to his gunshot wounds at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Palash Das, 30, son of Gyanendra Nath Das of Alaipur area of the district town.

Earlier on Saturday, Palash received bullet injures during a bloody clash between leaders-activists of BNP and Juba league in front of district BNP office in Alaipur area around 11:30pm.  

Later, he was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

District Awami League publicity secretary Chittarajan Shaha confirmed it to banglanews around 7:30am on Tuesday.

Palash’s body is yet to arrive in Natore, he added.
